​I was born in the Eternal city in the "year of the barricades." As a young girl I have lived in the Middle East where I attended American and English schools , acquiring my love for the English Language. I have an American boyfriend, a teenage boy and a lovely dalmatian. I translate by day and I poem by night.

I hold an MA in American Literature (University of Rome "La Sapienza"). I wrote my dissertation on the fiction of Toni Morrison.
I have previously worked in a foreign Embassy and as a test center Manager for an American company, I have been working as a translator for over 10 years and I own a translation agency here in Rome.
In 2010 I have had a cathartic encounter with poet laureate Jack Hirschman in San Francisco and I am currently writing his biography.
